Licence Suspended for Wish Me Luck Ltd

(Malta).- The Malta Gaming Authority (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Authority’) is hereby notifying the general public that authorisation number MGA/B2C/342/2016 has been suspended as of the 24th April 2018 in terms of Regulation 9(1) of the Gaming Compliance and Enforcement Regulations (S.L. 583.06).

Consequently, the Authority has ordered the authorised person to; suspend all gaming operations with immediate effect, cease to register new players, retain and provide continuous accessibility to all registered players to their player accounts, refund all player monies to the legitimate players accordingly and in line with the applicable Legislation, cause a notice to be displayed on the authorised person’s website/s informing all registered players that the authorisation has been suspended, send an email to all its registered players duly informing them of the above-listed directions and submit all necessary data and documentation.


Furthermore, the Authority hereby notifies the public that Wish Me Luck Ltd is no longer authorised to make reference to the Authority and to the authorisation on any unapproved websites/URLs and to use the Authority’s logo/kite-mark on such websites/URLs.


As a result of such suspension, Wish Me Luck Ltd is no longer authorised to continue conducting gaming by means of distance communications under authorisation number MGA/B2C/342/2016. Consequently, websites operated by Wish Me Luck Ltd, or associated with Wish Me Luck Ltd which make reference to the Authority or to the above quoted authorisation are not authorised by the Authority.


Players who deem to have any outstanding payments due to them on the mentioned licence are to send an email to support.mga@mga.org.mt and should submit the following information:



  1. Name and Surname;

  2. Registered Address;

  3. Date of Birth;

  4. Copy of Passport or ID Card;

  5. Telephone Number;

  6. Description of Product i.e. casino or sportsbook;

  7. User Name; and

  8. Screenshot of Balance or any pending Cash Outs (if not available an estimated balance is to be submitted).


The Authority notifies that no further information shall be released at this stage in order not to compromise any further investigations that may need to be conducted by the Authority and/or any other competent authority.


Any person who feels aggrieved by the decision of the Authority has a right of appeal to the Administrative Review Tribunal in terms of article 43 of the Gaming Act.


This notice is being published in terms of the powers vested in the Authority under regulation 8(1) of the Gaming Compliance and Enforcement Regulations.
